Bradfield Mardi Gras 2026 Installation

To celebrate Mardi Gras 2026, a collaborative art installation by LGBTQIA+ artist Jeff McCann and emerging Western Sydney artist Safa Al-Bekaa proudly adorns the First Building at Bradfield City.

Inspired by a Bradfield City community workshop, Jeff and Safa co-designed the artwork which represents themes important to Western Sydney’s diverse LGBTQIA+ community, including the social role of art, opportunity for generational change, and celebrating intersectional identities.

This colourful installation represents how Bradfield City will grow into an inclusive and welcoming city for all future residents, workers, and visitors.
